The Art of Making Blushers and Bronzers
Pre-requisite mineral makeup class.
This course will focus on advanced techniques for making cream and pressed Bronzers and Blushers plus added recipes for mineral powder makeup.
Special Offer: When one takes The art of Making Eye Makeup and Advanced Foundation Course. The Blush and Bronzer e course is included, along with the ingredients (plus extra) needed for all three courses.
- Equipment needed for making blushers and bronzers:
- Coffee grinder for grinding up micas and oxides etc. I usually have at least three grinders: One for red/orange/pink coloured pigments, one for blue/green/black coloured pigments and one for the white powders.
- An electronic scale that measures both ounces and miligrams, (postal scales are the most accurate).
- Measuring spoons plus 0.05cc mini scoops.
- Plastic or surgical gloves
- Mask for during and after grinding. You can take it off again once the particles have settled.
- Jars for storing your blends in as you go along, zip lock bags will work.
- Packaging jars.
To make a cream for a cream blush you will need the following:
- A double boiler (A 250ml heat resistant glass beaker that fits into a saucepan).
- Popsicle sticks
- Two 40/50ml Academy Borosilicate Low Form Beakers (Not necessary, otherwise a 100 or 250ml heat resistant glass beakers.
Upon enrolment, the following ingredients will be shipped to you:

- 25g Titanium dioxide
- 25g Zinc oxide
- 25g Rice powder
- 10g kaolin clay
- 10g Magnesium stearate
- 10g mica coated with carnauba
- 10g silica
Waxes and Oils
- 30ml Dicaprylyl carbonate
- 10g Lanette wax
- 10g Oliv OilAvenate
- 30ml Naturderm IL
- sample Neopress
Oxides: 10g of Red and Yellow
Mica colours:
- Sample 24 karat
- Sample Blackstar Gold
- Sample Carmine
- 2 tsp copper sparks
- 2 tsp dazzling pink
- 2 tsp Dusty Coral Impact
- 2 tsp Fine Gold Mica
- Sample Ice Crystal
- 2 tsp. Imperial citrine
- 10g Imperial topaz

- 2 tsp Moroccan Velvet
- 2 tsp Pearl White Mica
- 2 tsp. Pearl nude

Content of the courses:
The contents of the cosmetic making courses are clear and aimed at immediate practice, thus, they contain a theoretical base, which allows students to put into practice the knowledge acquired.
Aimed at:
Women and men with or without previous knowledge in cosmetology, presented in a practical way, clear, simple and complete.
Tutoring:
Upon enrollment, ingredients for making the products in the course will be sent to the student.
As soon as the ingredients have been received then the class can start whenever the student is ready.Jan will set tasks to be completed in the students own time.

Students will be able to ask questions and verify the formula's they create by e-mail, Whatsapp, telephone or Zoom..
Diploma:
At the end of each course, the tutor will suggest some practical studies (final evaluation) to apply the knowledge learned during the training.
Once this has been completed, the candidate will receive a certificate that accredits the accomplishment of the course, which will then be sent by email.
Duration:
The course is designed to last 8 hours or 4 weeks. However, students may spend more or less time to complete the course depending on their available time.
Enrolment will remain valid for a period of one year from the start of the course
